Automatically create past bills for a tenant over a selected date range based on the listing’s rent schedule and rule. This is useful for backfilling records, migrating data, or reconstructing billing history.

Description:
Automatically create past bills for a tenant over a selected date range based on the listing’s rent schedule and rule. This is useful for backfilling records, migrating data, or reconstructing billing history.
⚙️ How it works
- Generate Historical Bills
Creates multiple bills covering full billing periods within the selected date range. - Based on Rent Settings
Uses the listing’s:- Rent schedule (e.g., Monthly)
- Rent rule (Advance or Delay)
- Due Date Logic
- Advance Rule → Due date is at the start of each period
- Delay Rule → Due date is near or at the end of each period
- Full Periods Only
Only complete billing cycles are generated. Partial periods are automatically skipped. - Tenant Start Protection
Bills will not be created before the tenant’s official start date.
💰 Optional Setting
- Mark Generated Bills as Paid
Automatically creates approved payment records for each generated bill (useful for encoding past paid rents).
